Unpredictable ending and unique storyline, that is how I can describe Dutch movies. For that reason, it fascinates me to watch more Dutch movies. Other than that, it helps me also to improve my listening skills in Dutch and learn more some traditions and culture here in the Netherlands. You will notice also that there are just few movies released by this country because they don't have enough or little funds to market it internationally. All Dutch films rely on state funding that can be achieved through several sources such as the Dutch Film Fund or the Dutch public broadcast networks ('omroepen').
