Baguio Trip

Ever since when I was a child, I never been in Baguio. So when I need to make a tour for Dennis. I didnt forget to put Baguio in my list. I heard many good points about this place which remains a prime tourist destination area in North Luzon because of its cool climate, fresh, green and peaceful environment unlike other tourist destinations in the Philippines. We went directly to Baguio after our stay in Bolinao and stayed from 26 until 28 of April. We stayed in the Hotel Veniz which is very affordable for its rate and the rooms are clean and comfortable with accomodating staff. It's also a good place to start off when your exploring the place coz most tourist destinations in the city is just a walk away from that hotel. We went first to SM City Baguio where you can see most part of the Baguio when you overlook in the veranda. The next day, we walked around in the Burnharm Park and went via taxi in Mines View Park, The Mansion, Wright Park, Botanical Garden, and the Cathedral. We passed by also in famous Session Road, Kennon Road,Teachers Camp, and Good Shepherd and bought our pasalubong for my family in the Public Market where you can buy fresh strawberries, broomsticks, peanut brittles, lenggua, and jams which Baguio was popular with these things. I hope I can visit again Baguio and its other tourist spot such as PMA, Tam-awan Village and Easter Weaving Room

Bolinao Trip

Dennis loves going to beach! So I looked in the Internet what were the beautiful beaches near to our hometown. I saw that many people who visited Bolinao due to its beautiful and scenic beaches and some tourist spots. After the Holy Week, we decided to go there. We leave Bamban dated last April 25 and stayed for a night there. I'm not expecting that it was a long travel that took 3-4 hours. I was thinkinng that we were going to stay near to Patar white beach but we were already tired so we stayed to a resort near to terminal, the Rock Garden Resort. We still enjoyed our stay there even we didnt go to Patar beach and some tourist spots in Bolinao. But I'm looking forward that we can go back in Bolinao and see more beautiful places.

Dennis: First time in the Philippines

April 14,2011- Dennis arrived for the first time in Ninoy Aquino International Airport. I went there to pick up him together with my mom. Actually, I should be there alone but Mama excitedly to meet Dennis in person (coz she saw him already in cam). We were so happy to each other coz finally we were together again. After that, we went directly to Mabuhay Manor Hotel which my cousin recommended it to us so we could rest for a while. Then, we went to Baclaran to buy some clothes for Dennis coz he didnt bring much clothes with him.His baggage was full of ''pasalubong"for us. Then, Mama said goodbye to us and needed to go home for her work in the next day. So only two of us left and made sure to treasure all our moments together.

Next day, we went to the Netherlands Embassy to get my legalized documents but unfortunately, we didnt get it coz they would need to validate it first before they would give it to me and came back when it was ready. Then, we went to my Auntie's house where I lived for two years of my college life. My Aunt was not expecting us to visit her. She was little suprised when we arrived there. Auntie was glad to meet Dennis as well as to him. My Auntie was also my second mother. She was so nice and very helpful. She helped those people who needed her help even they were not related to each other. After that, we went to SM Mall of Asia  where we stayed there until sunset. Our stay in Manila took three days. We also visited Luneta Park and Manila Ocean Park and went back to hotel to feel relax in the swimming pool. The third day was the time we needed to go home in Bamban.
